Our Assisted Living goal is to keep each resident in the least restrictive, most enriching, environment possible, allowing for the maximum level of independence.
In addition to our skilled nursing/long term care unit, Singleton Health Care is a licensed residential care facility or commonly referred to as Assisted Living. Our assisted living certification comes through the widely recognized Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging (WRAAA aka “Waiver program”). We accept residents with Medicaid as their primary insurance into our assisted living unit, provided that they meet the appropriate level of care. As an assisted living waiver facility, we provide a private room with a private bath and shower, most of which are newly renovated. We provide the privacy and independence that all residents deserve, with the comfort of knowing there is nursing staff on premises available 24 hours a day. Residents receive three home cooked meals a day as well as two snacks, and a full scale laundry service. A full daily schedule of activities and outings is available if desired. The facilities Medical Director has a close relationship with our residents and can be reached at any time with any inquiries or concerns. Routine well visits and most preventative screenings occur quarterly within walking distance of the facility.
We have had excellent results from our annual state compliance surveys and we are proud to be citation free from the WRAAA annual survey.
We are proud of our diverse population and all assisted living staff members are continuously trained in mental health awareness and treatments.
Being a small facility allows us to work closely with the residents and their families and maintain personal relationships and ensure all needs are being met.
